MobileSerwis Mobile App Privacy Policy

1. Installation and requirements

The MobileSerwis app is installed on mobile devices, in particular mobile phones and tablets, after downloading it from:

• the Google Play store — for devices running Android,
• the Apple App Store — for devices running iOS.

Using the app requires a mobile device running iOS or Android and an Internet connection. Some features also require a camera (photos attached to work orders). In addition, an active account in the MobileSerwis system is required — you sign in with a login and password generated in the system by your company administrator.

2. App permissions

Depending on the mobile platform, the app may request access to the following permissions on the device:

• camera and device storage — to take and attach photos and files to work order documentation,
• location (GPS) — optional, used to coordinate field service work (the technician's position on the work order map); this feature works only when it is enabled for the given account in the system and the user grants consent on the device,
• push notifications — to inform about new and updated work orders.

Each permission can be revoked at any time in the device's system settings or by uninstalling the app. Revoking a permission may limit the related feature, but does not prevent you from using the rest of the app.

3. What data the app transmits

The app transmits the following device-related information to the MobileSerwis system:

• the identifier and name of the mobile device on which it is installed,
• the device's operating system version and the app version,
• the push notification token,
• the device's GPS position (latitude, longitude and accuracy) — only when the location feature is enabled and the user has granted consent (section 2),
• data entered by the user while handling work orders (descriptions, photos, files, service reports).

The device identifier is used to link the phone with the technician's account and to authorize connections to the system.

4. Purpose of processing and access to data

Data transmitted by the app goes to the MobileSerwis system of the company where the user holds an account and is used solely to handle service work orders and coordinate field service work (e.g. notifications, the technician's position on the map). The controller of the data collected within the company account is the company using the MobileSerwis system.

The data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Platform services (Google/Apple) are used to deliver push notifications.

5. Opting out of using the app

If you do not agree to this privacy policy, please do not install the app, or uninstall it. Permanently removing the app from the mobile device is equivalent to ending your use of the app. To request deletion of data collected in the company account, contact the system administrator at your company.

6. Google Play and App Store policies

This privacy policy is supplementary to the privacy policies of the Google Play store and the Apple App Store. The app publisher is not responsible for the privacy policies of those stores or for their compliance with personal data protection and electronic services regulations.

This privacy policy may be updated as the app evolves — the current version is always available at this address, and the date of the last update is shown in the document header.
